Back in July a mysterious console turned up on the web and it made us look twice. A Nintendo Playstation you say?!
There was once a partnership between these two gaming giants, but way before the Playstation itself turned up. The question was whether this was a myth and well thought up idea and composite console or something real and playable.
The games played in the demonstation are played off a Super Famicom cart with the CD drive not functioning currently but the thing powered up and Engadget had a play here:
Well it was pictures back then that caught everyone's attention in July but now its gone a step further and been powered up to play. And the results are clear to see with the power on the unit clearly on and the screen showing the boot up display:

The console itself was picked up by gamers Dan and Terry Diebold for a measly $75 at an auction - but an auction nearby to the HQ of a company where former Sony Interactive Enterainment CEO Olaf Olafsson worked! A pretty cool pickup!.
