This amazingly fast and unique 3D Shooter has since become a cult classic and lived in versions of the arcade original and sequels which are based on the orginal 3D format

What we remember about this most was the speed and energy of the game

The Atari Jaguar isn't one of those machines that many remember and it was not well received, yet their version of Tempest is a great replication of the original with an added twist.

Back in 81 it really kicked off with the Arcade Tempest on the scene of the arcades.Originally designed and programmed by the great and respected Jeff Minter and Dave Theurer who created Missile Command.

What we remember about this most was the speed and energy of the game. in the original and holding up on the Jaguar as a 64 bit game and against alot of competition at the time. If every game on the Jaguar had been like Tempest 2000 it would have been a different story.
