SEGA has been making games and arcade classics since the early days. A brand that has flourished both in the east and west, with it's highly memorable gaming characters they are loved all the world over

A Japanese Multinational company that has a strong links with the USA when it was originally set up as Standard Entertainment Games - to then become SEGA twenty five years later in 1965.  It's famous for Sonic as the main rival to Nintendo's Mario,  and for many years  Sonic "the little blue hedgehog" has graced the video game world of SEGA.

  • Master System

    BORN IN 1985. The Sega Master System began it's life in Japan with a US release in 86 then in Europe in 87.

  • Mega Drive

    BORN IN 1988. The console that was the home to Sonic, one of the most recognisable and loved gaming characters in the world.

  • Sega SG-1000

    BORN IN 1983. The Sega SG1000 was released only in Japan and New Zealand (Radomly enough!) and never made it's way as a commercial launch to Europe or the USA.
  • Mega CD

    BORN IN 1991. The Mega-CD was developed as an add on to the Mega Driver or Genesis systems at the height of new CD technology for games in the early 90s.

  • Sega Saturn

    BORN IN 1994. The Sega Saturn was a 32 bit machine which sold nearly 10 million units, with games like Panzer Dragoon Saga, Virtua Fighter 2 and Nights into Dreams.

  • Dreamcast

    BORN IN 1998. The Dreamcast was the very last of the consoles it ever produced with a massive range of games such as REZ, Jet Set Radio and Shenmue.

  • Sega 32X

    The Sega 32X is an add-on for the Sega Genesis/Megadrive console. Codenamed "Project Mars, the 32X was designed to expand the power of the 16-bit console and serve as a holdover until the release of the Sega Saturn.
