Du nuh Dun nuh dud dud dud dun...the build up of sound in the film was as intense in the play of this classic IDEAL game from the 1970s.

The key piece to this game was a very cool plastic Jaws!

Like many toys and games of the time IDEAL took a broad concept of the movie and based on a film title made a game out of it. This time on the 1975 Universal Pictures "JAWS" movie. The set up of the game includes the shark body with both fins, 10 game pieces, two eye stickers, game directions and original box. The key piece was a cool plastic jaws - the shark that everyone loved to hate. Along with this it includes a grappling hook used to remove the items from the shark's mouth.

Its a fairly straightforward challenge - in fact you can easily just play it on your own. After filling the large plastic shark's mouth/gullet up with all of the flotsam and jetsam, players take turns trying to hook the junk out of the beast's mouth with a plastic gaff. The trick: don't let Jaws's jaws snap shut on you or you're out. After all the junk has been retrieved, he who possesses the most wins.
