The 1987 classic Roadblasters allowed you control of a supercharged vehicle with a race against time to meet the chequered flag - before your fuel ran out or you got rammed or blasted to pieces along the way!
Collecting special weapons and extra fuel kept you alive
The 1987 classic Roadblasters literally blasted its way across the arcade and many consoles. Taking control of the supercharged vehicle your 3D downward view (a great driving positon) allowed you to blast away big time.
The full sized cabinet version was monster and sitting in the thing made a thrilling ride like no other. You felt enclosed and in control of a supercharged racer with power in the wheels and with the range of weapons on offer. Not only this the steering wheel on both the sit down and larger cabinet version felt really solid and realistic too.
Collecting special weapons (rocket launcher was our favourite) and extra fuel kept you alive longer for this thrilling ride of your life.
