After Afterburner ripped up the book of arcade dogfighting with it's smash in the mid 80's. This arcade cabinet and hydrolic movement and fast action play was a huge part of it's success.

Strike Fighter in 91 followed in the hallowed ground of this with SEGA's Afterburner with the very cool cabs that you would find it difficult to miss in the arcades back in the day.
Similar to G-Loc Air Battle (which has an awesome 360 cab) this put you in fast head to head sequences using your speed, cannon fire and missles to get out of danger - you had to be quick or your 50p or £1 was soon over!
