Microsoft Corporation was set up by Bill Gates and Paul Allen at the height of the microcomputer explosion of the late 70's. Microsoft developed MS-DOS in the 80's and Windows in the 90's.They are now one of the most recognised businesses in history!    

Before the computer revolution and the internet, computing was a niche hobby or work based activity. Now everyone has some kind of computer or phone/tablet and browse the web.  Microsoft are one of the companies who have brought it to us in both operating systems and the web brower - Internet Explorer.They are pioneers of technology and have stamped their name into gaming now, and proved really their worth!
