In a time when exciting 3d arcade action was entering console owners homes, A game kept alive the tradition of point and click adventures.

The main character George is a likeable everyman lead

Set in Paris it tells the story of American tourist George Stobbart, Who survives a bomb blast at a cafe he is sitting outside. His Quest for anwsers leads him on an incredible globe trotting journey to thwart a shadowy organisation's plans for world domination.

Made by Revolution, Makers of classic point and click games Beneath A Steel Sky and Lure Of The Temptress. This game carries on in the vein of those classics and others like the inimtable Monkey Island. The game is presented in a charming hand drawn style, Which paired with an orchestral score by Barrington Pheloung the composer behind the music for Inspector Morse, Gives the game a wonderfully warm and grand feel to the game. The controls can feel a little awkward if using a gamepad on consoles, Although it is still serviceable.

The main character George is a likeable everyman lead. The rest of the cast is varied and mostly amusing. The game has a nice warm humour to it laced with many innuendos. The story line is a nicely paced adventure in the spirit of Indiana Jones. With plenty of globetrotting, trap dodging and evading of badguys. It also involved taking on the Templars before certain hooded vigilantes made it cool!

Although It won't take Monkey Island's title as arguably the finest point and click of all time. I think it did a pretty good job of helping carry on the torch for the genre. Also I'm guessing there are still quite a few out there with fond memories of Paris in the fall. Using your wits and an eclectic assortment of items you find and fit into George's tardis like jacket. Solve various problems and avoid dangers to twart a dastardly plan for world domination.
