Far superior to the original Game Boy version, Tetris DX was released on the Gameboy Color in 1998.

This is my favourite game of all time. Make it yours too!.

The pieces move faster, the gameplay is more fluid and apart from having awful music (original gb version cannot be beaten on this) Tetris DX is a strong contender for the title of; greatest game ever.

Easy to learn, difficult to master. Simple rules, addictive, anyone can play it. Above all, FUN.

Marathon mode is where the action is. The level maxes out at 30, but play continues until you balls it up. World record stands at 4,988 lines. Good players can reach 200-300 lines, advanced players will top 1,000 lines. Elite players can get beyond even this.

Tetris is the very definition of "pick up and play".

This is my favourite game of all time. Make it yours too!.

Arrange falling tetriminos into horizontal lines, to make them disappear. Points are awarded based on how many lines you clear at a time. Clearing 4 lines at once is known as a "Tetris", and is the maximum number of lines you can clear in one move. Elite players can play the game by only using "Tetris" moves.

The game ends when the screen is full of pieces and no more moves are possible.
In the same year, Nintendo also released; The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Another near-flawless games from the *greatest videogame developer of all time.
