This was a truly groundbreaking game starting firstly with the many moves you could put together to beat down on your opponent - 18 in all.

A one and one match approach this adopted a typical martial arts face off and all the sound effects to match -along with a cool soundtrack especially on the Commodore 64. Designer Gregg Barnett most famous for the Hobbit, gave the game it's strong design feel from the opening screens to the gameplay itself. Like the martial arts movies that preceeded it - Way of the Exploding Fist is a true fighting classic.
